Day 2:<\/strong> After breakfast drive to Ger tourist camp in Tariat village, Arkhangai province \/480 km asphalt \/ B+L+D<\/p>\n

On the road, we visit the Elsen tasarkhai -Sand dunes. Picnic lunch<\/p>\n

The Gobi-type area with huge sand dunes in the morning. There is an opportunity for a camel ride trial through the sand dunes. Elsen tasarkhai is a unique place combining the Gobi desert, mountain steppe, and high mountains within a single area.<\/p>\n

Taikhar rock behind in tourist camp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Taikhar Rock\u00a0is located in the village of Ikh Tamir, south the Khoid Tamir River. It\u2019s a big 20-metres (66 feet) high\u00a0granite rock, The most famous legend bound to Taikhar rock tells that\u00a0Bukhbilegt, a giant warrior, threw this rock on a snake that was coming out from the land, which explains its strange presence in this place.<\/p>\n

Another local legend tells that this rock symbolizes the love of two unfortunate lovers. Tamir loved a girl, Taikhar, but the local lord, who wanted to marry the beautiful Taikhar, prevented their love. So the girl ran away towards the river and her lover sat near the river to wait for her to come back. But the wait was endless and Tamir ended up becoming a rock, standing along the river for eternity, with no possibility ever to meet up with his love again.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 3:<\/strong> After breakfast drive to tourist camp in Tariat soum, Arkhangai province \/170 km asphalt \/ B+L+D\u00a0 \u00a0nice place: River-Canyon.\u00a0Overnight in Tourist Camp .B+L+D<\/span><\/p>\n

Karakorum, formerly known\u00a0as Karakorum, was once a capital of Chinggis Khan\u2019s Great Mongol Empire in the 13th century. After the move of Mongolian capital to Beijing, and the fall of the empire, Karakorum was abandoned and then destroyed by vengeful Manchurian soldiers in 1388. Today, in the wide valley of the Orkhon River, awe-inspiring ancient monastery \u201cErdenezuu\u201d coexists with Karakorum town. See some valuable religious items in the monastery museum and admire its stunning architecture.<\/span><\/p>\n
