Road: Main touristic roads are tarmac (asphalt) paved roads. This included the roads from Ulaanbaatar city to the Russian and Chinese borders, paved roads from Ulaanbaatar city to most cities or provinces.
Main car: Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus-470 is the most comfortable and safe vehicle for traveling in Mongolia. All cars are equipped with air-conditioning. The Japanese cars can contain up to 4-5 people including the driver. You can use those cars for both short and long-distance both.
Second car:
4WD JAPANESE AND KOREAN MINIVAN
Hyundai Starex – comfortable, fast vehicle with air condition. This car is able to go through different roads. Can be used for luggage as well.
